Independent Stylist
When I was five, I knew that I wanted to be a hair stylist. I started by trimming the hair of dolls and barbies. Then in my teenage years, I started cutting my friends' hair. I was always the one doing make-up and styles for any event or just a night out. Working with hair and helping people look and feel beautiful has always been my passion.
I went to cosmetology school right after high school in my Minnesota home town. I worked for a few years in Minnesota and then moved to the Milwaukee area in 1998.
I have been at Plum for twelve years. I feel blessed to have found a place with other talented, fun, and supportive stylists. I most enjoy working with multi-tonal hilites and color, and specialize in natural looking reds. I love trying new techniques and sharing ideas with my coworkers. I am always excited to give my clients something new, but I also pride myself on consistency and my clients knowing they can get the same service and attention with each appointment.
Along with being a stylist, I am a wife, a dedicated mom and 'chauffeur' to my son and daughter. I love the beach and spend as much time as possible camping. I enjoy cooking, any kind of craft project, and in another life may have been an event planner.
